🤖 AI Facial Recognition & Smart Automation

The doorbell uses AI-based facial recognition algorithms to process recognition locally. You can register family members and frequent visitors through the Aqara Home app and use facial recognition to reduce unnecessary alerts and trigger smart home automations.

The system supports up to 30 faces. Recognition of a specific or unknown face can also be used as a trigger for compatible smart home automations.

🔋 Dual Power Options

The outdoor unit can operate using 6 AA batteries for up to approximately 4 months depending on usage, or it can be connected to an external power supply. When wired power is used, the batteries can serve as backup power during an outage.

External Power Supply: 12–24V AC or 8–24V DC.

🔊 Indoor Chime & Wi-Fi Repeater

The included indoor chime features a powerful 95dB speaker to ensure alerts and visitor notifications can be heard clearly. It also works as a Wi-Fi repeater for a more stable connection and features a USB Type-C port for flexible placement.

💾 Local Storage & 24/7 Recording

The G4 supports MicroSD cards up to 512GB for local video recording. The MicroSD card is installed inside the indoor chime repeater, making it more difficult to access or tamper with from outside.

Note: MicroSD card is not included. 24/7 continuous recording is available only when the outdoor unit is powered using a wired power supply.

🎙️ Voice Changing & Custom Ringtones

For added privacy, the G4 allows you to change the intercom voice with several options, including uncle, robot, and clown voices. You can also customize the ringtone of both the outdoor doorbell and indoor repeater and use them as part of smart home automations.
